Steve Burnett
Steve has lived most of his life in Delaware and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Delaware. His insurance career started in 1980 as an underwriting assistant for a carrier in New York City.

Steve began his sales career in 1985 with Topkis Casualty Insurance Agencies, Inc. Topkis Casualty merged with Insurance & Financial Services in 1991. Steve’s experience includes the marketing and underwriting of Commercial and Personal Property and Casualty Insurance, Contract Bonds, and Life and Health Insurance. Steve earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1989 and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in 1998.

During the course of his career he has been actively involved in many business trade organizations and is called upon frequently to present insurance and risk management seminars for those groups. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware-American Subcontractors Association, the Safety and Membership Growth Committees of the Associated Builders and Contractors and the Safety Committee of the Delaware Contractors Association.

Bob Briggs
Bob began his insurance career in 1969 as a Claim Adjuster with the PMA Insurance Co. and became a commercial sales Account Executive in 1972.

In 1981, Bob moved from PMA into the agency side of the business specializing in commercial property and casualty coverage in the contracting field for several Delaware agencies and in 1988, joined Agents, Brokers & Consultants, Inc. which merged with Insurance & Financial Services, Ltd. in 1994.

Bob earned the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS) designation in April, 1995 from the Insurance Institute of America and is currently working toward the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation. He is active in several trade associations such as Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC), Delaware Contractors Association (DCA), Suburban Contractors Association (SCA) and also serves on the Legislative Committee of the Independent Insurance Agents of Delaware (IIAD).
